Tender description

The Locality Community Health Development and Improvement Services shall use a community development approach to build community capacity, increase social capital and strengthen individual and community resilience. They will reduce health inequalities by primarily focusing on the wider determinants. There will be a secondary focus on promoting healthy lifestyles and protecting health will be included depending on local engagement needs. The Services can include all ages, where appropriate, but will primarily focus on adults 16+. They shall be delivered only in the 10 % most deprived neighbourhoods of Leeds as identified in the Index of Multiple Deprivation. The Locality Community Health Development and Improvement Services are provided on an area basis and will be procured in 3 lots, 1 for East North East Leeds, 1 for South and East Leeds and 1 for West North West Leeds. A tenderer may apply for all 3 lots but if successful may only be awarded 1 lot to deliver.
