Project Name: External Landscaping Works-Main Entrance & Promenade Project Description: You are invited to submit a fixed price, lump sum tender for the remodeling of the external landscape area to our main front entrance and creation of a new promenade to connect the entrance to the A38 footbridge. The project is to be let under the JCT Design & Build Contract (2011). The project comprises the full remodelling of these areas including, but not necessarily limited to, detailed design work, demolition and stripping out works, earthworks, civil engineering works, hard landscaping, soft landscaping and street furniture. All initial enquiries should be directed to Chris Baillon in the Estates Department via the In-Tend Portal. Tenders are to be submitted no later than 1pm on Tuesday 10th May 2016 The contract completion date will be Friday 9th September 2016. Tendering contractors are required to confirm their ability to comply with the contract completion date as part of their tender submission. The University Summer term ends on Friday 24th June 2016. It is anticipated that the works can be delivered with a contract start date no earlier than Monday 27th June.
