Tender description

In anticipation of successful funding applications for major road improvement schemes, South Tyneside Council, wishes to establish a Highways Engineering Contractor framework. Although no guarantees can be provided, the value of works to be placed via the framework is anticipated to be in the range GBP 15-GBP 20M. Over the next 3-4 years there could be up to 4 schemes consisting of major junction and highway improvements. Each project may incorporate elements of new carriageway and footpath construction, local and major drainage works, utility diversions, retaining structures and other ancillary works.
