Tender description

The Council seeks an organisation to undertake the development of 70 units comprising 25 % for social rent and the remainder for mid market rent. The development will include a mix of houses, colonies and flatted blocks. The mid market rented units require fitting out with blinds, carpets and white goods (cooker/washing machine/fridge-freezer etc.). A private sector developer will be developing housing on an adjacent site. The Council seeks a tenure blind mixed tenure development set in a high quality public realm. To this end it intends to obtain Approval of Matters specified by Condition (AMC) for their portion of the master plan area for its development. 21st Century Homes will submit for an AMC planning application and stage A building warrant in April/May 2016. Council works will be executed as Design & Build in the context of the design guide, planning consent, outline specifications and other Employer's Requirements. Interested organisations must download the PQQ documentation which contains full information on the scope of the works and complete and return no later than 12noon on 18.5.2016.
