Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHSFT (DBH) is looking at options for outsourcing of its sterile and decontamination services. Please note DBH is potentially looking to work collaboratively with other Trusts on this opportunity. In the main there are four options: Lot 1 - Outsource to a third party managed service that utilises our current premises at DBH for both surgical and endoscopy instruments Lot 2 - Outsource to a third party that undertakes the works at their offsite location for both surgical and endoscopy instruments Lot 3 - Outsource to a third party managed service that utilises our current premises at DBH for endoscopy instruments only. Lot 4 - Outsource to a third party that undertakes the works at their offsite location for surgical instruments only. The overall objective of the Trust(s) is to secure the provision of a modern and efficient sterile and decontamination service which achieves the national policy for compliance with all of the latest and future quality and legislative standards, at a competitive and cost effective price, enabling the Trust to service their current and planned/unplanned growth requirements in a timely manner.
