Tender description

Hampshire County Council invites applications from suitably experienced organisations who wish to be considered for a Framework for Training to School Staff: Supporting Pupils at School with Medical Conditions. The Service Provider will: — Work collaboratively with Hampshire Inspection and Advisory Service (HIAS), Public Health and other key stakeholders to develop and co-deliver an up to date training programme in relation to current and future government guidance ‘Supporting Pupils at School with Medical Conditions’; — Work with HIAS to develop and maintain a model that reflects a whole school approach to Supporting Pupils with Medical Conditions; — Working with HIAS to develop other courses where required. The Framework will be with 1 provider. It will commence on 1.9.2016 and will be for a period of 2 years with the option to extend for 2 further 1-year periods. The successful provider will have to have trainers with relevant occupational competence and sufficient back office capacity to administer the training and competency assessment process. A briefing for interested parties will be held on 14.4.2016 at Winchester, Elizabeth II Court, from 10:00 to 12:00.
