Tender description
The department requires a calorimetric system (Lot 1) compatible with measuring maximal thermogenic capacity in mice, together with a temperature controlled cabinet (Lot 2), more fully described in Section 3 of this tender. The tender consists of 2 Lots, 1 for each piece of equipment. There is a Section 3 for each Lot. We welcome responses from suppliers offering bids for 1 or both Lots. Whilst the tenders for Lot 1 is for 1 item, the Department of Clinical Biochemistry may, within 3 months of the award date, look to purchase a 2nd identical system from the bidder who wins that Lot. Bidders for Lot 1 are therefore required to confirm the price offered for a 2nd unit as part of their tender.
