Tender description

— Wirral Council seeks to commission a Mobile Domiciliary Service to operate overnight (23:00 - 7:00), delivering both planned and unplanned care, working seamlessly and collaboratively with other services to support people in their own homes, preventing admissions to acute care settings and reducing length of stay. — There is currently a Mobile Night Domiciliary service in operation covering the whole of the Wirral area. — The service will operate for 2 full financial years with a proposed start date of 13.6.2016 to 12.6.2018, with an option to extend to 12.6.2019, and a further option to extend to 12.6.2020. — We seek to deliver the service with a provider who is already accredited to the Wirral approved provider list. — The service will cover the whole of Wirral, and is advertised as 1 single lot.
