Tender description
Lancashire County Council, on behalf of H.M. Coroner for Preston and West Lancashire, and H.M. Coroner for East Lancashire, will be inviting tenders for the provision of a Coroner's Body Removal Service. The purpose of this tender is to appoint suitable contractors to remove and transport all bodies referred to the Coroner to a designated mortuary facility or other specified location. It is envisaged that the contract will be split into a number of Lots covering different areas of Lancashire. Consortium bids with 1 lead supplier will be welcomed.
