Tender description

The Framework Agreement Contracts are relating to the Authority's procurement for a Government Decontamination Service Framework to provide contingency decontamination and related services in the areas of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear contamination. The service will include the supply, transport, deployment and implementation of the decontamination and/or related service(s) for use by the Contracting Authority in a CBRN or major Hazmat incident. The Providers are expected to provide all necessary equipment required to deliver this service and could include (but is not limited to): raw materials, consumables, protective equipment, detection/monitoring equipment, power generators/fuel, heavy plant and transportation. The Authority appoints Providers onto a multi-supplier Framework that will be available for use by the Authority and other Central and Devolved Administration Departments, Agencies and Public Bodies. UK Local Authorities, UK Police Forces, UK Fire and Rescue Services, UK Ambulance Service. The Framework is divided into 8 Lots.
