Tender description

Staffordshire County Council is proposing to develop a framework agreement to provide Refurbishment and Demolition asbestos Surveys, Air Monitoring Including Emergency Response and Four Stage Clearance Testing and Ad-Hoc Bulk Sampling for Asbestos Materials. The agreement value is potentially up to 500 000 GBP per annum over the maximum term of 4 years. The lower end of the value of 125 000 GBP per annum assumes the estimated spend for Staffordshire County Council only. This upper estimate of value includes an assumption of some of the services being purchased by other contracting authorities and Public Bodies, although there is no commitment at the time of tendering from any parties outside of SCC's portfolio and this should be taken into consideration when bidding. The nature of the framework arrangement and potential range of beneficiaries (who may or may not take advantage of the framework) accounts for the range in the potential value of the framework agreement. Note that the framework may be used as part of a trading strategy.
