Tender description
Invitation to tender for Adoption Support Services, to include:- Lot 1 – Advice, Support and Counselling Service The service will provide a range of flexible, well communicated and accessible support services to adults and children affected by adoption and Special Guardianship (SG) families to improve their outcomes – to include: • Advice and support • Therapeutic counselling and attachment focused therapy • Telephone Helpline Lot 2 – Family Based Therapeutic Intervention The service will provide family based therapeutic intervention based on developmental trauma and attachment. The service should include a model of therapy for families: • during the initial stages of placement • after the adoption order has been made In particular the Provider will provide an assessment of the family’s needs and clear plan of therapeutic intervention for adoptive families and children.
