Tender description

Kingston Council are moving from grants-based funding to commissioning of services from the voluntary and community sector. Responsibility for commissioning of children’s and youth services has been transferred to Achieving for Children (AfC), the Council-owned Community Interest Company which delivers children’s services across Kingston and Richmond. We are intending to commission a range of services (from a total commissioning pot of approximately £117k p/a) which will be rooted in the local community and which will target the following groups: 1. Children and young people who experience domestic violence and abuse. 2. Young people experiencing or at risk of sexual exploitation. 3. Young people suffering from poor mental health and emotional wellbeing. 4. Children and young people who are experiencing bereavement, or who are facing bereavement in the near future. 5. Parents and families with young children who are at risk of requiring statutory support in the future. We are hosting a soft market testing event to test our proposals.
