A Better Start Development Associate - – Integrated Service Planning and Contract Development

A Better Start is a Big Lottery funded opportunity to improve the life chances and outcomes for children 0-3 in Southend with a focus on preventative intervention. A Better Start Southend is a partnership between the Pre-School Learning Alliance, Southend Borough Council, health authorities, police, families, community groups, commercial sector and the voluntary sector, which aims to give the most vulnerable children the best start in life. Working together with parents and local communities we aim to develop long term success through evidence based programmes. We are looking for operational support with service specification and contractual arrangements with partners for the delivery and implementation of A Better Start. This contract will be in place from 25th April 2016 with the potential of up to 71 days of delivery with a value of between £20,000 to £32,000, depending on the agreed work plan, to be delivered before the end of July 2016. Please quote a daily rate for this contract bid. The contract will be with Pre-school Learning Alliance using major partner Southend Borough Council’s procurement and payment facilities. Responses need to be submitted by 9am Friday 22nd April 2016.
