Tender description

Devon County Council operates its own specialist vehicle fleet to enable and support a wide range of services within the community. There is a however a requirement to supplement this fleet through short, medium and long term self drive hire arrangements. Contract award will be made on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender solution, based on application of the following award criteria and weightings: 80 % in relation to Price; 20 % in relation to Qualitative Proposals; Tender Price 80 % of evaluation. Tender price will be measured in terms of total price where the day hire rates will be multiplied by the relative weighted hire demand (2014/2015), and any addition pro-rata charges (where applicable) for each Lot, based on the last 12 months demand. Qualitative Proposals 20 % of evaluation will be measured in terms of the following criteria question areas; — Resources and Infrastructure 30 marks out of 100. — Booking Arrangements 20 marks out of 100. — Emergency Deliveries 20 marks out of 100. — Service Levels The question is not scored and is for information only. — Variations in Demand 10 marks out of 100. — Account Management 20 marks out of 100.
