Royal Holloway, University of London(hereafter referred to as ‘the College’) anticipates seeking to implement a solution or solutions that will underpin its College-wide student recruitment and admissions activities and also its interactions with current students. Strategically, this will facilitate the College meeting its aims of sustainability and increasing student numbers in an ever-more competitive environment. The College is currently implementing email marketing platform software, and direct online applications with associated workflow for applicants. The final focus for student recruitment is the Customer Relationship Management system. It is likely, though not confirmed, that the solutions(s) for student recruitment will include prospectus requests, live chat, event management including online booking, reporting capabilities to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment activities and information portals for agents, applicants, enquirers and staff involved in student recruitment. It is likely, though not confirmed, that the solutions(s) for current students will include managing the tracking of enquiries and their resolution, book appointments, generating a knowledge base of frequent enquiries and engaging with the student population on specific campaigns, e.g. the completion of surveys. It is expected the solution(s) will integrate with current College systems and have reporting functionality across all aspects. It is recognised that there is potential for the system functionality to be extended to other business areas with the institution.
