Tender description

The Communications and Situational Awareness (CSA) section, within the Maritime Combat Systems Team, has a potential requirement for provision of In-Service Support (ISS) to Auxiliary Navigation Sensors and Ship Air (ANSSA) Systems fitted to current and future naval platforms. The ANSSA equipment comprises of the following: 1. Ships Compass Transmission Systems (SCTS); 2. Aircraft Ground Starting and Servicing (AGSS); 3. Wind-gear; 4. Meteorological Data Gathering System (MDGS); 5. Automated Upper Air Sounding System (AUASS); The requirement is intended to include, but not be limited to, repair services (spares inclusive support solution), spares production, Post Design Services (PDS), safety, obsolescence management for ANSSA Systems across a range of naval platforms. It is anticipated that the support contract will be for awarded in FY 16/17, for a period of 5 years with options for 2 additional years. This PIN is to alert the market to the potential future requirement and is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOI). A Contract Notice and Dynamic PQQ shall be issued in due course to request EOIs which shall reference this PIN.
