Tender description

Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) invites applications from suitably qualified companies to participate in the pre-qualification process for the proposed tender for the machining and delivery of Expansion (adjustment/breather) switches following free-issue of rail by IÉ. Pre-Qualification Questionnaire Attached to this Notice and Should be Completed and Returned as Directed in Order to be Considered. This will be a fixed price contract valid for 3 years with the option to extend annually for up to a maximum of 2 additional years. To Note: 1. IÉ shall free issue CEN54 E1 rails for machining. 2. Expansion switch rails must be machined identically to allow for pairing in service. 3. All rail branding must be removed clear of clamp plate positions. 4. Rail ends to be provided undrilled. 5. Average annual requirement estimated at 30 sets.
