Provision of Production Lighting Services

Tender description

The BBC is seeking to establish a framework of supplier’s for a fully managed service, to include wet hire, dry hire and qualified electrical agency staff, for the provision of lighting equipment and associated staff to the BBC and its subsidiaries. Tenderers must demonstrate the ability to offer comprehensive technical support across the full range of products, which will include applications advice specific to broadcast environments. A high quality, value for money service is required. Suppliers are encouraged to provide a cost efficient low energy, cold lighting and Light-emitting diode (LED’s) alternative to the more established lighting methods such as tungsten, hmi’s and pars and to offer the BBC Production Sustainability initiatives.
