Provision of Emergency Lighting Maintenance Services

Mid Essex Heath Trust has a legal requirement to periodically inspect, test, record and issue results for all Emergency Lighting installations within the retained estate. In line with regulations, the Emergency Lighting testing shall be undertaken at predetermined intervals as determined within the Emergency Lighting Maintenance Specification. Surveys/inspections shall be carried out to ensure that emergency lighting installations comply with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Fire Alarm Standard BS 5839-1:2002 and also to meet Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) requirements specified in BS 8300. This contract shall form the basis for a rolling contract over 3 years with an option to terminate at the 12 month and 24 month Anniversary. At the end of the 3 year period, then the contract will be retendered in line with Trust policy.
