The Principal Designer Service is required to ensure that the Authority is compliant with its statutory requirements, as defined by the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015, in the undertaking of building projects throughout the estate, and to assist in the management of health, safety and welfare of construction projects. The CDM Advice Service is to provide specialist construction health and safety advice to Estates and Technical Services (ET&S) team to ensure that statutory compliance is met throughout the estate.
