Tender description

Computer Equipment and mobile devices using an Apple Operating System and value added services where appropriate. The estimated value of the agreement based on historical data is in the region of 100 000 000 GBP per annum. This is anticipated to increase to up to 125 000 000 GBP per annum during the life of this agreement. This estimate includes institutional purchases (35 % of total expenditure) and permitted personal purchases by registered students and staff (on campus) of approved organisations (65 %) and is subject to the extent of participation across the sector. This is the total estimated spend by all participants and not the value of business placed by the lead contracting authority. The overall agreement will encompass various hardware, software, peripherals and accessories on which the Apple OS X and iOS operating systems (and future upgrades and derivatives) must run natively. The agreement also encompasses value added services (to be defined) as required.
