Tender description

Coventry and Warwickshire Pathology Services (‘CWPS’) is seeking a partner to implement a Managed Laboratory Service Contract for Pathology that will include the provision of maintenance and replacement of pathology equipment, associated connectivity and the supply of consumables, associated items, chemicals and reagents. Additional developments of the service will be required such as the support in upskilling of staff and access to global research to assist the future strategy of the network. It is anticipated that all Blood Science disciplines of Pathology will be covered by this procurement, with the additional service of Sample Transportation. This is likely to be split into 2 lots. CWPS is a managed network of laboratories hosted by University Hospitals of Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust. Laboratory services are provided by laboratories at University Hospital, Coventry, South Warwickshire Hospital, Warwick and George Eliot Hospital, Nuneaton. To assist in the strategic direction of the procurement and overall solution, CWPS will be holding a supplier day on 25th April. We will contact you within 7 days to confirm attendance and release further details. This day will be held in accordance with Regulation 40 and 41 of the Public Contract Regulations 2015.
