Tender description
Hull City Council invited qualified and interested suppliers to tender for the provision of a 4-year framework agreement with concessions, meaning customers will buy and select services from the framework in meeting their specific outcomes, for the provision of a Citywide Home care and Community Support Service. The Council selected via evaluation 12 suitably skilled and effective home care agencies, all with the ability to respond effectively to customers wanting to buy their services on a first come first served basis. Home care is the term used in Hull to describe Domiciliary Care monitored by the Care Quality Commission. This service relates to the provision of home care services, city wide and within Hull City Council's extra care community hubs. The service is generic, and will therefore be available to all adults aged (18) and over, including people with a learning disability, autism, sensory disability, mental health needs, substance-misuse related needs and needs related to HIV. This contract was procured using an EU Open Process. Hull City Council invited qualified and interested suppliers to tender for the provision of a 4-year framework agreement with concessions, meaning customers will buy and select services from the framework in meeting their specific outcomes, for the provision of a Citywide Home care and Community Support Service. The Council selected via evaluation 12 suitably skilled and effective home care agencies, all with the ability to respond effectively to customers wanting to buy their services on a first come first served basis. This contract was awarded on the basis of the offer that is the most economically advantageous to the Authority. The Award Criteria was: — 50 % quality (20 % towards social values); — 50 % cost (25 %- hourly cost general home care, 25 %-hourly cost two carers calling, night time call).
