Electronic monitoring services — Monitoring Hardware Solution.

This Prior Information Notice (PIN) was published on the Official Journal of the European Union on 21.3.2016, Reference 2016/S 058-097422 This notice is to inform the market that the Authority intends to carry out market analysis of the Electronic Monitoring Hardware Solutions Market with the objective being to enter into a competition at a later date. The Authority intends for this market analysis to review solutions in relation to the supply of Electronic Monitoring hardware solutions (for example, the Authority currently deploys anklets, wristbands, fixed position units, hand held monitoring devices, equipment management devices, etc.) and all associated infrastructure, firmware and software, capable of monitoring a Subject's curfew, location, and / or exclusion or inclusion from multiple specified areas as directed by the Authority. This initiative is for Lot 3 Electronic Monitoring Hardware Solutions only. Lot 3 forms part of an integrated contractor model, designed to deliver an end to end Electronic Monitoring system and service. The Integrated contract structure includes: Lot 1 Electronic Monitoring and Field Services (including Service and System Integration). Lot 2 Electronic Monitoring and Mapping Services. Lot 3 Electronic Monitoring Hardware Services. Lot 4 Electronic Monitoring Network Services. Each Contract is bound by a multi-party Integration Agreement. The Lots 1, 2, 4 (including the SSI) services have been contracted. For the avoidance of doubt, these services are not included in the scope of this initiative.
