Communications Manager and Radio Hire Southport Air Show

Sefton Council is looking for a suitable supplier for the provision of 2 x Communications Managers and provision of 70 multi-channel hand held radios. Background Sefton Council’s Tourism Section is responsible for arranging events for the Southport area which includes the Southport Air Show each year. This is a hugely popular event that is well attended. Specification • Southport Air Show to be held 9th ,10th & 11th September 2016. 2 x Communications Managers to: Monitor, forward and log radio messages. Receive delivery of all radios, check and prep for the event, set up communications unit with aerials, site maps and any necessary paperwork and perform a site signal test. At the end of the event, take down aerials and ensure all radios have been received back in and arrange collection, tally and pick up. Hours of operation: Friday: 4pm – 10pm (approx.) Saturday: 6am – 6pm. Sunday: 6am – 6pm. MUST PROVIDE. 70 x Multi-channel hand held radios for operation over a 2 mile site of the Southport Seafront. Must include multi way chargers, belt clips and earpieces (not D shaped ones) and a base station for the Communications Managers.
