Cheshire East Council Provision of information on external funding opportunities ~ April 2016 Chest ref DN124488 Expected Duration: 1st June 2016 to 31st May 2019 Location The area covered by Cheshire East Council which includes the main towns of Crewe, Nantwich, Congleton, Wilmslow and Macclesfield. Service Required Providing regularly updated electronic information on external funding opportunities. This would include information on funding available from: Government Departments; charities; local authorities; other public sector organisations; companies; and European organisations. Examples include grant funding or community awards notified through e-mail alerts, newsletters and / or a database. These funding opportunities would be available to the specific area and also include offers open to all such organisations. The funding could be used for revenue or capital expenditure and be part of a general announcement or a specific initiative to improve a certain issue such as public health or social care. The information will be used by Cheshire East Council directly, other Council service providers and the local voluntary, community and faith sector organisations within the area covered by the Council. It will be used to inform bids that could help fund delivery of local priorities. There is no requirement for bid writing support for this contract. There is no requirement for suppliers to be physically based in the area of Cheshire East.
