Notification of award of the following: Thames Water seeks to award a Framework Agreement(s) for the provision of comprehensive, cost-effective and flexible tracking solutions, which will enable more effective management of our fleet and plant assets, and fully meet our business and operational requirements for the next AMP6 period. TW is looking for a supplier who can provide robust hardware and reliable, proven and flexible software which offers a wide range of functionalities, excellent reporting capabilities, easy upgradability as well as offers the best fit with our vehicles and plant profile. Functionalities that TW require include support for, safety of employees, driver behaviour, vehicle efficiency and utilisation, operational efficiency, maintenance, etc. The reliability of the hardware, software and IT support will be of utmost importance. Purchase or leasing options will be considered. The range of approx.1 450 vehicles and 600 pieces of plant which include self-propelled and towable items, will be in the scope of the agreement. System integration TW's fleet management system, as well as potentially other key operational systems may be required. The scope of the services includes tracking solutions for: Vehicles (referred as Lot 1), and Plant (referred as Lot 2). Although the preferred solution is to award to 1 supplier, we will consider dual award if such solution proves to be the most economically advantageous.
