Although St. John Fisher has seen many changes since it began as two classrooms in the Convent of Mercy in January 1953, the Gospel values on which it was founded remain unchanged. The Catholic Faith remains central to the life of St. John Fisher School. Our guiding aim is to develop a personal knowledge of Jesus Christ and a deep understanding of the values and the practice of the Catholic Church An essential aspect of the strong Catholic ethos on which our school is founded is that we share the Church's few that: Parents must be acknowledged as the first and foremost educators of their children. We aim to provide a school environment which is at once happy, caring and secure, yet at the same time one which challenges the children to step out of their ‘comfort zone’, strive for excellence and make the most of their unique God given talents. St. John Fisher school is organised into single aged classes that cross 3 educational stages. The school currently enjoy a pupil roll of approximately 225. The School currently have an outsourced catering solution and are seeking to tender the service to ensure best value is achieved.
