RMBC CS Tender For The Provision Of Enforcement Services

Runnymede Borough Council has initiated a restricted tender procedure in order to invite tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations, who wish to be considered for the provision of Enforcement Services in respect of unpaid Council Tax and Business Rates. The Council currently has 34,937 Council Tax properties and 2,414 Business Rates properties. The Council will also be requiring the Service Provider to execute warrants of arrest issued by the Magistrates' Court. Contracts will commence on 1st December 2016 and will be for a period of five years, with an option to extend for a period of a further two years. It is the Council's intention to award contracts to two Enforcement Agencies and it is proposed that the division of work will be approximately 50/50. The anticipated value of the contract for Runnymede Borough Council is estimated to be in the regions of £100,000.00 for the full contract term. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate their financial and commercial standing and have good quality management systems. The Council is looking for high performance in the collection of debts, along with a good quality service.
