New Education Management System for Teagasc

Teagasc currently has a system which manages the result management for education within Teagasc and Private Colleges. The technology is out of date and is no longer fit for purpose. Teagasc is looking at procuring a new Educational Management System for Teagasc and Private Colleges. There is a requirement to expand the base of users and introduce new facilities such as online application. At a high level, the scope of the project for the Tenderer is: • Provide online facility to manage course awards and components, manage exam results and maintain a student record of education. • Develop a set of reports on the system which match existing reporting functionality and meets new requirements in particular, records of education, statistical reporting and management reporting. • Provide on-line application facility for students. • Appropriate training of Super Users within the Education Sector. • Provide support for the solution implemented.
