1386/296/SW/PTG/16 High-precision Multi-functional Machine Tool: The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for the supply of a High-precision Multi-functional Machine Tool for use within the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre at Catcliffe, Rotherham. Scope of Requirement: This machine tool will be used within the AMRC Factory of the Future building. The machine will predominantly be used for Research and Development activity supporting industrial applications ranging from Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 1-6. Application sectors will likely be, but not limited to: medical, watch, aerospace and micro-mechanics. As such, machine capabilities should reflect material, geometries and functionalities typical of the target sector applications. Tender Process and Documentation: This is an EU open exercise.
