However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. Ordnance Survey owns a number of digital cameras and employs its own staff for air camera operation, but it traditionally outsources the flying element of its operation. OS is exploring the opportunity to extend its flying program for 2016 and therefore is looking at hiring additional aircraft to facilitate this.
