Tender description

The Council wishes to award a contract(s) for Housing Related Support Services for Person/People with Mental Health Problems and a contract for Person/People with Substance Misuse Problems. The purpose of the mental health supported housing service is to provide housing related and other support, in order to enable person/people with mental health issues to maximise and sustain their independence in the community and also support them to achieve their rehabilitation and recovery goals. The service will provide low to medium level housing related and other support. For the substance misuse contract the requirements are for a supported accommodation based service for those accessing substance misuse treatment services, who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless in North Yorkshire. The service is intended to provide short-term accommodation and support for people who have achieved some progress in addressing their substance misuse and require a stable place to live.
