Tender description

Bolsover District Council have recently re-sited their existing Telecare centre known as “Central Control” from one of our existing offices to the Riverside Depot. As part of these works and to achieve accreditation to operate as a Telecare centre, certain backup systems have been put in to place in order for the unit to operate at all times. To this end the Council has recently installed a generator which will require regular servicing and maintenance to guarantee “Central Controls” continued operation in the event of mains power failure. Bolsover District Council invite tenders in respect of appointing a contractor to provide generator maintenance for the generator fitted at the “Riverside Depot” to provide servicing as detailed in the following document. The Council is offering a contract of two years with the option of an extension by a further two years (2 + 2) subject to satisfactory contractor performance. The contract with the Council’s existing maintenance contractor is due to end on the 25/04/2016, so it is expected that the newly appointed contractor will be in position to provide the services detailed in the specification from this date.
