Franking & inserting equipment for corporate mail room and associated maintenance plans

Tender description

Following the amalgamation and subsequent review of several internal postal services within Wirral Council, there is a need to obtain via a leasing mechanism new Franking and Mail Inserting Machinery, supported by appropriate maintenance packages; in addition there is a requirement to supply maintenance plans for currently owned machines. With effect from 1st April 2016, the council also has lease liabilities of approximately £19,000 held against a number of machines that are no longer in use and there is a requirement to terminate these leases or as part of any leasing agreement have these liabilities accounted for.
