Tender description

The Borough Council of Bolton (‘the Authority’) is prepared to receive tenders for Direct Payment Support and Brokerage Services Including Payroll and Supported Banking Services which will be subject to the information, specification and tender package enclosed. The Authority has previously provided support and advice for Direct Payments recipients as part of its assessment and care management services and in light of increasing volumes and wishes to consider this being provided differently. The Authority therefore approached a small number of organisations who already provide Direct Payments support and brokerage elsewhere, with the intention of purchasing these services during 2015/16. There is a contract already in place for a payroll and supported banking service with Cheshire Centre for Independent Living (CCIL) that is ending this financial year. The Authority is now seeking for an organisation to provide a Direct Payment support service along with the payroll and supported banking service.
