COV - Highways Material Supplies

Tender description

Coventry City Council is looking to establish a multi-supplier framework for the supply and delivery of various highways construction materials inlcuding: 1) Coated Roadstone - rolled ashphalt, coated macadam and permanent cold-lay surface materials 2) Dry Stone - capping materials and sub-base: W75 capping layer material; type 1 unbound mixture; 3) Sand and Gravel - aggregate for bedding, laying and surrounding of pipes; aggregate for back-filling filter drains; concrete block, slab and flag jointing sand, concrete slab and flag laying sand. 4) Concrete mixes - cement bound granular mixes, concrete for ancillary purposes; structural concrete. Owing to the length of the framework the Council reserves the right to access this framework for materials not named within this description but covered by the CPV codes which it may reasonably require during the life of the agreement and which can be provided by such suppliers awarded to the framework which are similar in nature to those provided for.
