Tender description

The Communications and Situational Awareness (CSA) section, within the Maritime Combat Systems Team, has a potential requirement for provision of In-Service Support (ISS) to primary Internal Communications and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) Equipment fitted to current and future naval platforms. The Internal Communications and CCTV Equipment comprises of the following: 1. CCTV; 2. PABX (Telephone Exchange); 3. Flight Deck Communication; 4. Infra-Red (IR) Communications; 5. Rationalised Internal Communications Equipment (RICE) 1 & 2; 6. Main Broadcast Communications; 7. Visual Surveillance Systems (VSS). The requirement is intended to include, but not be limited to, repair services (spares inclusive support solution), spares production, Post Design Services (PDS), safety, obsolescence management for internal communications equipment across a range of naval platforms. Any potential supplier will be required to have or obtain a List X status (in accordance with JSP 440). It is anticipated that the support contract will be awarded in FY 16/17, for a period of 5 years with options for 2 additional years. This PIN is to alert the market to the potential future requirement and is NOT a formal request for Expressions of Interest (EOI). A Contract Notice and Dynamic PQQ shall be issued in due course to request EOIs which shall reference this PIN.
