CADAVER TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE ON BEHALF OF HM CORONER

Leicestershire County Council and Leicester City Council (?The Councils?) are seeking to establish a select list of providers for the removal, transportation and storage of cadavers on behalf of the HM Coroners. The Councils objective for this procurement is to create a select list of formally pre-approved suppliers, who will be available to the HM Coroners across Leicester City and Leicestershire County and who between them can provide full geographical coverage across the County and City. The select list will be divided into nine areas split by geographical area. This includes seven geographical areas within Leicestershire, Leicester city and Rutland. Providers can apply to cover any area (providing they can cover the whole area) or may apply for more than one area. Any provider gaining access onto the select list may be used by Leicestershire?s Resilience Partnership in the event of a mass fatality. The range of providers used will depend upon the scale of the emergency and the location of the incident.
