Tender description

The scheme involves the refurbishment of the following 13 national road bridges in County Mayo: Hagfield Bridge MO- N17-003; Rathrussel Bridge MO-N58-004; Abhainn Mhor Bridge MO-N59-015.00; Srahgraddy Bridge MO-N59- 022.00; Bangor Erris Bridge MO-N59-023.00; Lettera Bridge MO-N59-029.00; Creggaunuahorna Bridge MO-N59- 050.00; Barrackland Culvert MO-N60-003.00; Balla Town Bridge MO-N60-006.00; Dalgan River Bridge MO-N60- 014.00; Levally Lough Bridge MO-N83-001.00; Keelogues Bridge MO-N05-006.00; Dooleague Bridge MO-N05- 007.00. The Bridge Rehabilitation Scheme is likely to involve the undertaking of the following works: Bridge widening; Bridge deck slab strengthening, including overslabbing and possibly carbon fibre plate bonding; Bridge deck slab repalcement; Complete bridge replacement; Masonry arch rehabilitation; Scour protection; Upgrading of masonry bridge parapets; Masonry clad concrete parapets; Installation of safety barriers; Concrete repairs; Masonry repointing and repair; Bridge deck waterproofing; Concrete rubbing strips and footpaths - hardstandings; Minor localised road realignment works; Diversion of services adjacent to the bridges; and Traffic management.
