Ashfield District Council ADCT15-0227 Supply of Wheeled Bins for Improving Recycling in Waste Services

Tender description

This Procurement has been undertaken as a further competition via ESPO Framework Agreement 860 Refuse and Recycling Products Lot 1. OJEU Reference 2013/S 196-338189. Ashfield District Council have resolved to provide all suitable properties with a new 180 litre wheeled bins and new 240 litre wheeled bins to properties with larger families for the collection of residual waste. All these bins will have grey bodies and different coloured lids as specified. The 240 litre wheeled bins currently being used for residual waste will be retained by residents for use as garden waste bins. The Council estimate that around 51,000no, 180 litre bins, will be required and these bins will need to be distributed to all suitable properties. The distribution will be in 3 phases over a 5 week period. The Council estimate that around 2,000no new 240 litre bins for larger families will be required and these bins will be distributed to all suitable properties by the Council’s own workforce.
