A Simulator concession at the Southport Airshow 2016,2017and 2018.

Background Sefton Council’s Tourism Section is responsible for arranging events for the Southport area which includes the Southport Air Show each year. This is a hugely popular event that is well attended. The dates for this years event are Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th September 2016.We are looking for concession proposals for this years airshow, but also for future airshows in 2017 and 2018 (subject to funding and the future airshows actually taking place.) In addition, the events officers will be in discussion with the winning bidder about the possibility of trading on the Friday evening, 9th Septemeber 2016, between 6pm and 9pm. An additional concession amount will be negotiated with the winning bidder. The Friday evening requirement, may or may not be required in 2017 and 2018. Specification 1. The concession will be for the two day event, providing a maximum of 4 simulators. Trading will be from 9am – 6pm over both days. 2. In addition, a concession amount will be negotiated with the winning bidder to provide the simulator(s) from 6pm to 9pm on Friday 9th September 2016. The Friday evening requirement, may or may not be required in 2017 and 2018. 3. The dates of the 2017 and 2018 Airshows are yet to be determind. 4. The simulators should be In place by 5pm on Friday 9th September 2016 and removed by 12 noon Monday 12th September 2016. 5. The Airshow organisers require predominantly aircraft related simulator,enclosed capsules and generators. 6. The simulators will be either situated on the beach or the Marine Drive. 7.
