The Council is seeking framework providers to deliver short-term, nightly emergency accommodation placements to a number of different client groups, including statutory homeless clients and vulnerable people subject to immigration control with no recourse to public funds (NrPF). This type of accommodation is currently purchased by the Council only when there is insufficient space or other constraints on commissioned accommodation services, and current providers include bed and breakfast establishments, hotels and private providers. Other forms of placement that meet the Council's requirements will also be considered. Some of these placements may also become a more medium term form of temporary accommodation.
