Real-time passenger information system

Tender description

Public transport, and in particular buses, are at the heart of the Council's Local Transport Plans, and Real Time Passenger Information (RTPI) is a core element of information provision. The Council wishes to further develop and enhance its RTPI system with a focus on technology that will remain fit for purpose. This requirement is for the provision of hardware and software maintenance for the existing Display Estate, with options for procurement, installation and maintenance of new display hardware. A Content Management System to control display content and layout is required, along with a web based monitoring system and a web based Fault Management System, which is to be provided and maintained by the Service Provider.
