Real Time Passenger Information Central System

Tender description

Provision of central system, comprising: data brokerage with RTPI prediction engine, report suite and output configuration tool. This will collate information from participating bus operators and other RTPI systems within the region, and provide configurable outputs, including; API layers, a SIRI data feed to the display estate Contractor, and maintenance of the Oxontime SMS and Website services. This system is required to provide data to OCC?s UTC and/or UTMC systems to enable these systems to provide centralised traffic signal priority, as well as providing bus location information to UTMC for journey time analysis and network management. A web based live monitoring tool, showing the status of all incoming and outgoing data feeds and the location of all buses being monitored by the Central System is required.
