Tender description

Provision of Quantity Surveyor Services for works on Athlone Garda Station. Refurbishment, extension and alteration of the existing An Garda Síochána Station to include the adjacent former Government Buildings. The development works will consist of (a) the demolition of an existing single storey storage building and boundary walls at the rear of the existing buildings; (b) demolition of the existing cell block at the rear of the Garda Station; (c) construction of a 4 storey link structure in the existing lane way between the Garda Station and Government Buildings; (d) construction of a new single storey cell block to the rear of the Garda Station; (e) construction of additions to the second floor of the existing Government Buildings; (f) modifications of the existing structures including alterations to internal layouts, existing elevations and existing window and door openings and all ancillary and associated site works. The completed building area will be 2 050 m2.
