Outdoor gym at Wormwood Scrubs open space

Tender description

The London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham is inviting proposals for the design and installation of an outdoor gym at Wormwood Scrubs open space, Hammersmith, London. This will replace an existing outdoor gym, which has been extremely well used and is now beyond economic repair. The new equipment must meet BS EN 16630. Pieces must be robust, with no, or few, moving parts. We aim to provide an enhanced version of the equipment currently on the site, rather than replicate a gym style environment. Pieces should facilitate a whole body workout, to enhance fitness in users who are active and exercise regularly. £32,500 is available for the project and the deadline for tenders is 29th January 2016. Construction is expected to take place in Spring 2016.
