Tender description

Works at Mount Jubilee Bridge, Kilteany/Drumanaffrin, Bangor Erris, Co. Mayo, comprising the following elements: - Vegetation clearance - Removal and storage of existing masonry wall capping - Raising of existing parapet - Placing of mass concrete foundations for widening of structure - Forming and placement of reinforced concrete abutment and pier extensions, including cut stone cutwaters - Concrete cast in situ reinforced arch extension to 5 spans - Concrete cast in situ reinforced ballast walls over abutments - Construction of new spandrel wall, parapet and voussoir stones to extended section -Installation of reinforced concrete footpath and concrete rubbing strip - New carriageway construction to bridge extension - Surface dressing across extent of structure - Installation of safety barriers - Realignment of existing river bank
