Tender description

South Ayrshire Council (the Council) has a legal requirement to provide Independent Advocacy Services for Adults. The Council currently has a contract with a Service Provider to provide this Service, however this contract is due to expire on 31.10.2015 and the Council has elected to go out to tender for this Service in order to test the market and ensure Best Value. The role of this Advocacy Service is to provide a combination of Professional Advocacy and Collective Advocacy. This contract will help ensure that Ayrshire and Arran Health Board (AAHB) and South Ayrshire Council meet their statutory obligations and provide Advocacy for a wider group of vulnerable people.
